The course equips musicians whose performance medium is not a keyboard instrument with keyboard skills so that they may utilize the instrument as a resource tool. Students will learn to: play modes of the major and melodic minor scales, transpose chord sequences in many keys; make simple arrangements of jazz standards with melody in the right hand and accompaniment in the left hand.
