If you are a newly admitted international student but need to defer your admissions to a future term due to a valid reason, such as a delay in receiving a study permit, you can fill out the Request for Admission Deferral form below.
Please read the information below carefully before completing this form:
- You may submit this form only if you have been accepted into a program and paid the new international student deposit.
- The request must be submitted before the application deadline for the new term.
- Your request will be considered only if you are not registered or waitlisted in any courses for the originally offered term. If you drop courses after the first day of the term, tuition charges may apply accordance with the Tuition Refunds Policy.
- You may request a deferral for up to two terms from your original admission term.
- Submitting this form does not guarantee that your admission deferral will be approved. You will be notified of the decision via your myCapU email address.
*Students who do not meet the eligibility criteria must apply online through EducationPlannerBC to request admission to a different term or program.
