If you are a newly admitted international student but need to defer your admissions to a future term due to a valid reason, such as a delay in receiving a study permit, you can fill out the Request for Admission Deferral form below.
Please read the information below carefully before completing this form:
- You may submit this form only if you have been accepted into a program and paid the new international student deposit.
- The request must be submitted before the application deadline for the new term.
- You must not be registered or waitlisted in any courses for the originally offered term. If you drop courses after the first day of the term, tuition charges may apply accordance with the Tuition Refund Policy.
- You may request a deferral one time only using this form.
- Submitting this form does not guarantee that your request will be approved. You will be notified of the decision via your myCapU email address.
- If you need to request more than once or do not meet the criteria above, you must reapply as a returning student through EducationPlannerBC for your preferred term or program.
