INTS 110 Making Change: Regional Research and Action

In this Problem-Based Learning course students work collaboratively to address a key challenge faced by communities in our region, strengthening their capacities as leaders and changemakers. The core problem of the course will change from term to term, but could include issues such as the social-ecological impacts of climate change, sustainable resource management, housing, urban planning, Indigenous reconciliation, or social justice. In order to cultivate strategies to address the selected problem students will learn from local community organizations and conduct academic research drawing on skills from disciplines within the Arts and Sciences.
