Case studies and sample problems will be used to elucidate these principles and conventions. Students will participate in the design of original solutions to new problems, and will communicate technical engineering material in graphical, written, and oral forms. Design problems will be chosen from a variety of engineering disciplines to give students some exposure to the different facets of engineering practise.
