Capilano University Athletics and Recreation offers summer camps for children and youth to get active and moving!

Whether you're a young athlete looking to improve skills in a high-level coaching environment or looking for a recreation camp to spend some time outdoors, there is something for everyone!
All revenue generated through Capilano Blues summer camps goes towards funding varsity athletic programs at Capilano University.

2023 Summer Sports Camps
CapURec Summer Intensive Series
Participants will get a feel for the University life in this weeklong half-way day series intensive. The day will be spent learning and growing movement repertoire and technique through and variety of practical movement based sessions.
Participants will be introduced to the Bio-Psycho-Social Model of Well-being through theory and practical sessions throughout out the week. The aim of the series is to provide participants with the opportunity to learn about their musculoskeletal system and all the aspects of injury prevention.
Participants will also improve their mental health knowledge, self-advocacy skills, and self-confidence. This series will be lead be our qualified and knowledgeable CapU Strength and Conditioning Coach, Athletic Trainer and Dance Professionals.
Participants will get a feel for the University life in this weeklong, half-day series.
The day will be spent learning and growing movement repertoire and technique through and variety of practical movement based sessions including strength and conditioning, Pilates, and Fundamental Movement Skill break down as well as dance technique.

- July 24-28, 1-4 p.m.
- Aug. 21-25, 1-4 p.m.
Cost: $200/week
Participants will get a feel for the university life in this weeklong, half-day series.
The day will be spent learning and growing movement repertoire and technique through and variety of practical movement based sessions including strength and conditioning, pilates, and fundamental movement skill break down, as well as dance technique.

- Aug. 21-25, 1-4 p.m.
Cost: $200/week
Participants will get a feel for the university life in this weeklong, half-day series.
The day will be spent learning and growing movement technique through and variety of practical movement based sessions including strength and conditioning, mobility exercises and fundamental movement skill break down as well sport specific drills and skills.

- July 17-21, 1-4 p.m.

The day will be spent learning and growing movement technique through and variety of practical movement based sessions including strength and conditioning, mobility exercises and fundamental movement skill break down as well sport specific drills and skills.

Refund policy: Refunds are subject to a $25 administration fee. Refunds are not available after the second day of camp. In the case of cancellation of a camp, full refunds will be issued.
Capilano University requires all employees working in direct contact with youth to undergo a criminal record check.
