Access to nasal naloxone

Nasal naloxone is available on campus and in housing from:

• All security guards carried as part of their uniform items.
• On-duty Residence Advisors.
• All Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) cabinets on campus and in housing.
• At reception at CapU Lonsdale and kálax-ay Sunshine Coast Campus.

Video surveillance

The University is authorized to collect personal information using Video Surveillance system(s) under section 26(c) of the British Columbia Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (“FIPPA”), as the information relates directly to and is necessary for a program or activity of the University.

The University is authorized to use this personal information under section 32(a) of the FIPPA, for one of the purposes set out in Policy OP.421 Security Technology - Surveillance Systems”, or for a use consistent with one of those purposes. For more information, please contact privacy@capilanou.ca
