Ever thought about pursuing a master’s degree program outside of Canada?
Through a uniquely crafted international partnership between Capilano University and the University of Surrey (UoS), CapU student graduates from select programs within the School of Performing Arts now have the opportunity to apply for select Master of Arts (MA) or Master of Fine Arts (MFA) program at the highly regarded Guildford School Of Acting (GSA) in the University of Surrey.

As a CapU student, you will meet the minimum eligibility criteria if you:
- Hold a Musical Theatre Diploma, Technical Theatre Diploma, or Acting for Stage and Screen Diploma from CapU (with a minimum/approved GPA achieved);
- Demonstrate significant engagement with drama, theatre and performance; and
- Meet UoS’s standard English language requirement or demonstrate exemption.

- MFA Acting
- MFA Musical Theatre
- MA Stage and Production Management
Cost, fees and scholarships
- Upon assessing all accepted applicants, GSA will award a £5,000 (approx. $9,300 CAD) scholarship per program to each accepted student.
- Qualified Students accepted into an eligible UoS MA or MFA program will be responsible for their tuition fees, course specific additional costs, and living expenses.
- Students will be required to maintain continuous health/medical and accident insurance coverage at the level specified by the Student Support Services at UoS and/or as advertised on the relevant pages of the UoS website.
- All accepted students have guaranteed accommodation options of various configurations.
