Convocation is the ceremony where you, your family and your friends celebrate the successful completion of your academic credential.
The 2025 Convocation Ceremonies will be held June 10, 11 & 12 at the North Vancouver campus.
The ceremony schedule will be posted on the website at the end of February.
In order to officially graduate from Capilano University you must submit an Application for Graduation.

Grad Portrait Sessions
December 9, 10 & 11, we will be hosting grad portrait sessions. This will be an opportunity for you to have a grad photograph taken with full regalia ahead of your convocation ceremony. You can also have a professional business portrait taken for your LinkedIn profile. Please keep checking your email for registration details. If you are unable to attend in December, we will be holding another session in April 2025.
Guests attending from outside Canada?
If you have guests attending your ceremony from outside Canada and need assistance providing documentation for a visa, please contact inted@capilanou.ca. They will be able to provide you with a template and instructions.
