This course develops collaborative performance skills through large and small ensembles. Students study repertoire from diverse historical, cultural, and stylistic traditions, gaining technical proficiency and stylistic awareness. Emphasis is placed on producing a cohesive ensemble sound, applying effective rehearsal practices, and communicating musical ideas in performance. Rehearsals, performance opportunities, and written assignments support the development of musicianship, professionalism, and artistic growth.
