We are excited to celebrate our grads at the 2025 convocation ceremonies in June!
Join us in celebration and volunteer at one of the ceremonies held on June 10, 11 and 12.
Convocation is the highlight of the year for grads, students and employees. Be part of this special day!
We will be recruiting volunteers for the following roles:
- Assembly area host: Receive students in The BlueShore at CapU theatre and direct grads to their program row prior to the academic procession.
All graduates must have checked in by getting their credentials, cap and gown before assembling. - Gown pick up: You will be stationed in the cafeteria at the Gown Pick-up table.
Under the direction of a representative from Gaspard, you will hand out gowns, caps, tassels and hoods. - Gown drop off: Grads will come and return their gown. All you have to do is put it in a box! A representative from Gaspard will give you more instructions if necessary.
- Birch Building entrance greeter: Information resource for all students and parents who arrive lost and confused. You will be responsible for allowing only grads to enter the Birch Building and directing guests to CSW. No Guests can enter the Birch Building.
- Regalia glam zone: You will assist students with their gowns, caps, tassels and hoods, and when they are ready, direct them to the Assembly Area (BlueShore Theatre). We will provide mirrors in this area to help students dress appropriately and pictures to demonstrate how to wear the gowns, caps, tassels, and hoods.
