Students will learn the fundamental principles and rules of the Federal Income Tax Act, the Excise Tax Act, and the administrative processes of the Canada Revenue Agency, to assist and advise individual and corporate taxpayers in determining their tax liabilities, and meeting their tax compliance and reporting requirements. They will analyze taxpayer profiles and financial transactions to identify, evaluate, and recommend appropriate tax-planning opportunities and strategies. (CPA transferable).
