Squamish Destination Housing Incentive

Live and learn at CapU Squamish!

The Squamish Destination Housing Incentive provides a tuition credit of up to $500 to eligible newly admitted students who relocate to the Sea-to-Sky region and live in student housing while attending a program at CapU Squamish.

Eligibility Requirements

Students must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible for the housing incentive:

• Be a newly admitted domestic student to the Squamish campus. Current, returning, and international students are not eligible.
• Have a home address outside the Sea-to-Sky region (Lions Bay to Whistler) as indicated on your CapU application.
• Visit the Squamish campus before enrolling by attending an Explore CapU Squamish event, taking a campus tour, or meeting in person with a Recruitment Advisor.
• Enrol in and attend a program at CapU Squamish.
• Begin studies in Fall 2027.
• Register and maintain a full-time course load (minimum nine credits or three courses) during both their first and second terms.*
• Move into CapU Squamish student housing.

Tuition Credit

The tuition credit will be applied after the add/drop deadline of their second term, provided all eligibility requirements have been met. Eligible students may receive:

• $500 tuition credit if their home address is outside of British Columbia.
• $300 tuition credit if their home address is in British Columbia, but outside the Sea-to-Sky region.

The funding is awarded on a first-qualified, first-approved basis.
