This course focuses on each students' ability to make safe leadership decisions, manage groups on the ocean, choose campsites, facilitate launches, and provide appropriate client care and instruction. Students may achieve industry certification(s) in sea kayaking if industry certification requirements are met.
Prerequisites: REC 148 as a pre- or corequisite
