As of August 24, 2020, we are only doing long-term equipment loans from the IT Service Desk in the Library. No other equipment will be loaned out.

We currently loan:

  • Podium keys
  • Cameras and camcorders
  • Long-term loan student laptops (based on Student Financial Aid's verification)

We also have some stock of webcams, USB microphones, USB-C adapter cables, HDMI cables, and speakers, all of which we give out for free to faculty and staff.

There are two ways to borrow audio-visual equipment:

  1. By visiting IT Services in Library Building, room LB101 during our office hours. Make sure to bring your Capilano University ID.
  2. Sending a request through the IT Help Centre
Make sure to request equipment at least 48 hours in advance.
