What is the purpose of Zoom?
Zoom is a virtual meeting platform that allows faculty to host live class sessions and virtual office hours. Screen sharing, polling, whiteboard, and annotations. Faculty can schedule upcoming classes and sessions that recur on a regular basis.
Features for faculty include:
- Virtual Office Hours and Scheduled Classtime
- Enhanced security and ‘Lock the Room’
- Share your screen, annotate, and record the session
- Student presentations in co-host feature
- Video breakout rooms
