Capilano University’s newest location, surrounded by mountains in the District of Squamish, will offer unique academic opportunities to deliver a distinct university experience for learners, inspired by imagination and rooted in innovation.
The 18-acre purpose-built campus includes academic teaching and learning spaces, a dining area, a library, an athletic centre and a sports field.
The campus enables CapU to begin serving students and collaborating with local partners with research and innovation activities in the Sea-to-Sky corridor. Details about available campus services will be released soon.
Applications are now open for programs at the Squamish campus, with classes beginning in Fall 2024.
The purchase of the Squamish campus was made possible through $48 million in funding by the provincial government in August 2023.
