Faculty listening to presentation

When you review the types of WIL at CapU, you may also want to consider booking a consultation appointment with the educational developer for WIL initiatives at the Centre for Teaching Excellence (CTE).

Several logistic considerations are necessary for successful WIL experiences to be incorporated. These might include applying for funding, selecting a location for the WIL experience (host organization), any associated risks and the mitigation and management of those risks. Students need WIL opportunities so they can have direct involvement and make important contributions within the host organization in ways that are meaningful to their academic, personal and career goals.

CapU WIL is here to support and guide you through this process, please email us with any questions.
