Work-Integrated Learning at CapU

Our students tell us that the best education happens when academic knowledge meets real-world experience.

What is WIL?

Work-integrated learning is an active collaboration between a student, an academic institution and a host organization (partner), which aims to integrate in-class learning within a work setting.

CapU offers the following WIL types:

Why Work-Integrated Learning?

For partners: When you partner with CapU, you have full access to a pool of talented students keen to bring fresh perspectives and skills to your table. WIL partnerships may also secure a pipeline of future hires.

For students: Engaging in WIL allows you to get a taste of a future career, try on your skills, solve real-life problems and discover your strengths in a certain area.

For faculty: WIL enriches your teaching by integrating real-world insights into the curriculum. Collaborating with external partners keeps our programs relevant to labour market trends.

“CapU has a very positive learning environment. The small classes allow for one-on-one time with profs, and the laboratory and fieldwork opportunities are incredible.”
