Fee Payment Deadline

You must pay tuition and fees by the deadlines posted to attend a course or program at Capilano University.

If you're a loan or scholarship applicant and need to request a deferral to pay your fees later, or if you qualify to defer your fees for other reasons, you can apply for an extension of the payment deadline through the Fee Deferral Process. We need to receive your application for an extension before the deferral deadline. For fee deferrals that are not related to loans or scholarships, please fill out the form below, attach supporting documents and send it to the Student Financial Accounts Office.

Please note:

• Students who have an outstanding balance at 4:00 pm on the day of the fee payment deadline will be de-registered from all their courses. However, students who are on a waitlist will not lose their positions.
• Credit cards are not accepted for domestic tuition payments. Go to How to Pay to learn about your options for paying tuition and fees.
• If you have unpaid fees, you won't be able to re-enroll or obtain transcripts, letters or other university documents until your accounts paid in full. 

Registration after the fee payment deadline

Students who register for courses after the fee payment deadline will be required to pay their tuition fees upon registration.

Note: If you register for courses after the fee payment deadline, you will not be dropped from your classes for non-payment of fees and will remain liable for any outstanding balance.

Note: Late fees will be applied to student accounts each month of the current term when the balance remains unpaid (four months per term).
