Support future CapU grads through the CUAA Excellence Award.
Established by the Capilano University Alumni Association (CUAA) in 2024, the CUAA Excellence Award supports students in their final year of study who demonstrate academic achievement and meaningful community involvement.
Three $1,000 awards are granted annually to:
- One Indigenous student
- One international student
- One domestic student
Award criteria
- Enrolled in the final year of a diploma or degree program
- Demonstrates excellence beyond the classroom
- Considerations for gender diversity and representation across programs
Why it matters
Graduation is a major milestone but for many students, the final stretch is the most financially and emotionally challenging.
This award helps bridge that gap by:
- Providing funds for essentials like tuition, books, or transportation;
- Easing financial stress so students can focus on leadership, volunteering, or capstone projects; and
- Creating a sense of community and belonging through alumni support.
Your gift in action
Every dollar makes a difference!
We're raising $20,000 from alumni to unlock a matching $20,000 gift generously provided by a CapU alum. Together, we can build a legacy that supports future grads for generations to come.
