This course is the second of a two part series of courses providing students with an overview of developmental research and theory for children from conception through to eight years of age. In this course students will continue looking at the history of child developmental theory and research. Students will also examine early learning, speech and language development, social development, literacy development, play, and the outdoors as a context for development.

Prerequisites: EDUC 166

Notes:
  • This course is equivalent to both EDUC 167 and EDUC 267. Duplicate credit will not be granted for this course and either EDUC 167 or EDUC 267.
