The Friday Faculty Concert brings together the brilliant faculty anchoring this year’s festival. From the fiery rhythms of traditional flamenco to the intricate, breathtaking counterpoint of classical duos, this showcase highlights the rich diversity and technical mastery of the guitar community right here on the West Coast.

- Closing the first half: Experience an immersive, soul-stirring solo performance by flamenco guitarist Iminah Kani.
- Dynamic Classical Duos: Renowned local instructors Michael Kolk (Vancouver Community College) and Festival Director Luis Angel Medina (Capilano University) team up for a stunning collaborative performance of classical masterworks during the second half.
The Saturday concert features a solo performance by Maximo Diego Pujol, critically acclaimed Latin American classical guitarist and composer.
