EarthWorks – EMERGENCE Film Screening
Join CapU Earthworks for a free film screening of EMERGENCE: Women in the Storm.
As climate disasters reshape our world through heat domes, atmospheric rivers, and wildfires, Emergence: Women in the Storm follows survivors of recent disasters—including the Lytton wildfire and Fraser Valley floods—alongside emergency responders and community organizers.
Woven with poetry from Meghan Fandrich's Burning Sage: Poems from the Lytton Fire, the film offers an intimate look at healing, resilience, and hope amid ecological crisis.
Join us for a free screening followed by a Q&A with writers and directors Nova Ami and Velcrow Ripper.
Where: CapU Centre for Performing Arts
