The purpose of this course is to help Communication students develop skills in finding and interpreting print and digital documents. It is a course in which students learn by doing through practical research and reflective assignments. In this experiential course, students will discuss and analyze topics such as database research techniques, digital content/social media analysis, exploration of archives, libraries and museums, and sourcing and analyzing government and legislative documents.

Prerequisites: CMNS 112 and 132
