Our enhanced two-year 3D Animation, Modeling and Effects diploma unleashes your potential to create stunning computer-generated characters and environments.
In your first year you will build a solid foundation in animation, modeling, rigging, effects and compositing. Year two allows you to specialize in areas like animation, modeling, look development, compositing, effects or rigging.
New features include an independent study course for personalized skill deepening, and CMNS 115 - Communication for Animation and Game Design, focused on industry-specific writing and creative development.
You’ll receive personalized guidance and support from experienced instructors as you build both your artistic skills and a strong technical portfolio.

Admission Requirements
English language requirements
English is the language of instruction at CapU. All applicants are required to demonstrate competence in the English language prior to admission.
If English is not your first language or you’ve received your education in a language other than English, you must meet our English Language Requirements.

Program Notes
Continuation Requirement: Students must successfully complete the required and elected 3D Animation (DIGI) course credits in one term before continuing to the next term.
Students planning to further their education with a baccalaureate degree should take ENGL 100.
