Record number of CapU Blues honoured as CCAA National Scholars

The Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association has recognized 43 Capilano University student-athletes with the 2024-25 CCAA National Scholar Award.

The Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) has announced its list of National Scholars for the 2024–25 academic year and a record 43 Capilano Blues student-athletes earned the honour.

To achieve this recognition, student-athletes must keep a grade-point average of 3.50 or above for the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 terms.

CapU had the highest number of athletes in the PACWEST conference recognized as National Scholars and the total of 43 is the most for CapU since the award was first given in 2004–05.
