North Vancouver B.C. February 15, 2024 – Capilano University (CapU) is pleased to announce it is again named as one of BC's Top Employers. The University takes great pride in being a workplace that offers employees experiences and engagement opportunities to actualize their passion and potential.

“Our people are the cornerstone of our university culture,” said Capilano University’s vice president People, Culture & Diversity, Kartik Bharadwa. “This award recognizes CapU’s ongoing focus on health and well-being, our commitment to diversity and belonging, and our desire to uphold an environment of learning and personal development that creates a dynamic and supportive workplace.”

Now in its 19th year, the BC's Top Employers competition recognizes employers in British Columbia that are leaders in offering exceptional places to work. Organized by the editors of Canada's Top 100 Employers, the BC's Top Employers annual competition recognizes employers with the most forward-thinking human resources practices and progressive workplace policies.

“To meet and exceed the criteria to be a Top Employer in today’s marketplace is a reflection of the strength of our employee community, and the dedication of our people to cultivate and support imaginative, life-enhancing learning experiences for students,” says Bharadwa. “Our commitment to prioritizing health and well-being positively contributes to a healthier and happier campus where everyone can grow.”
