Ravinder Kaur Goodison joins Capilano University as Associate Vice President, Digital Technology Services
Capilano University (CapU) is pleased to welcome Ravinder (Rav) Goodison to the role of associate vice-president, digital technology services. Her position is effective November 14, 2023.
Goodison has worked as a consultant at CapU since August 2023 leading the Digital Transformation Plan and the enterprise resource planning selection project. She brings over 25 years of Information Technology (IT) leadership experience across different industries and countries. In recent years, she has led several pioneering and multifaceted projects revolutionizing digital healthcare delivery and introducing modern day work practices through state-of-the art technologies for B.C. health authorities.
"In her new role at CapU, Rav will lead the University’s IT priorities of digital transformation, cybersecurity and strategic operations to ensure alignment with Envisioning 2030 and Illuminating 2030," said Tally Bains, vice president finance and administration at Capilano University. "She is committed to leveraging technology to enhance the educational and administrative functions of the University. We look forward to working with Rav and learning from her experience in driving innovation."
Outside of work, Goodison teaches health information management at the undergraduate and graduate levels, combining her extensive industry experience with her passion for teaching and mentoring
She holds a Bachelor Science (Honours) in Engineering Management, Master Science in International Management & Master Science in Health Information Science, a Project Management Professional certification and is a PhD candidate in Health Information Science.
