Capilano University employees Chieko Tanimura (left) and Shveta Parnami (right), together with fellow students and employees, took part in a cultural dress and dance event on main campus last week in recognition of Asian Heritage Month.

CapU held a series of events May 24 - 27, 2022 to honour the contributions of Canadians of Asian heritage who have contributed to making Canada the country it is today.

The line up of events was organized thanks to a collaboration between Capilano University, Capilano Students' Union, Capilano University Faculty Association, and CapU MoveUP staff. Students, employees and community members were invited to join in-person on online.
