COVID-19 in person daily health check and on campus procedures
In compliance with the new health order announced on November 7, 2020 for British Columbia’s Lower Mainland, Capilano University requires any employee or contractor who is working in-person to conduct, and record for their manager’s approval, a daily health-check self-assessment before commencing work each day that they are on campus. Students on campus are expected to continue to follow the required daily health check procedures.
Whether working or learning on campus, employees and students must continue to maintain appropriate physical distance at all times; wear masks in all common areas and take extra care using small office spaces, break rooms and kitchens.
The provincial health order is in effect until noon on November 23, 2020. For the duration of the order, employees are encouraged to work from home where operationally possible and approved by their manager.
