"Heather, Meaghan and Saina" are the first names of the talented Vancouver-based intercultural ensemble featuring Heather Pawsey (voice), Meaghan Williams (double bass), and Saina Khaledi (santour). These musicians frequently collaborate through the Vancouver Inter-Cultural Orchestra (VICO) and serve on the music faculty at Capilano University. Their unique fusion blends classical Western vocal and string traditions with the striking, percussive melodies of the Persian santour.
