CapU Classics presents 88 Strings
Chinese, Persian, and Western plucked instruments unite.
The unique Vancouver quartet 88 Strings' members include Dailin Hsieh (guzheng), Joy Yeh (harp), Ali Razmi (tar) and John Oliver (guitar). Blending traditional Chinese, Persian, and Western plucked instruments, and fusing classical and world music traditions, the group creates a hypnotic, enveloping sound, which has been described as "plucked string heaven."
