Scholarships, bursaries, and awards are types of financial assistance that you don’t have to pay back.
Scholarships are typically based on academic achievement, while bursaries take financial need into consideration. Awards can be based on academic merit, athletic achievements, extra-curricular involvement, or special achievements, and may or may not take financial need into consideration.

All submitted award applications are subject to audit and verification. Financial Aid and Awards conducts audits on a minimum of 5% of applications, and applicants may be required to submit additional supporting documentation as part of the audit process. Awards will be revoked for students who misrepresent themselves on applications.
