Applications for the Spring 2019 term are now open. Apply for Residence by October 31, 2018 to receive priority consideration to join our community this January.

A limited number of rooms are also still available for the remainder of the Fall 2018 term. These rooms will be offered based on availability on a first come, first serve basis.

About the Application Process

Visit our Application Portal and log in using your Capilano University username and password. Please note that your application will not be considered complete until your $50 application fee has been received. 

If you are a prospective student who has applied for Capilano University, but not yet received admission, we encourage you to apply for residence as soon as you receive your university login details.

Eligibility

Students who are registered in full-time studies (9 credit hours or equivalent) and are in good financial standing at Capilano University are eligible to live in our community during the academic year.

Priority Status

Students who applied by October 31, 2018 will be prioritized for our available spaces in residence based on the following criteria*:

  1. Current students who are already living in our community, but did not originally apply for the full academic year will be guaranteed a space in residence provided that they apply by the deadline.
  2. First-year students and students studying at Capilano University for the first time will receive priority consideration for rooms in residence. Additional priority consideration will be given to international students, exchange/visiting students, and students who live outside of the Metro-Vancouver area.
  3. A number of rooms are also prioritized for students currently studying at Capilano University who have not lived in residence previously.

* Please note that our ability to adhere to this criteria may be impacted by the combination of spaces and community types that become available for the Spring term.

We will begin sending Offers of Residence for the Spring 2019 term in early November. Please ensure that your check your Capilano University email or login to our application portal daily for updates on the status of your application.
