Virtual Fitness Programming

Over the summer, we have been participating in 2020 Recreation Movement, an online portal that allows you to access hundreds of live and pre-recorded fitness classes from Universities across North America. 2020 Recreation Movement will be coming back in the second week of September.

How to Participate

  1. Go to 2020recreationmovement.com
  2. Create an account using your @my.capilanou.ca or @capilanou.ca email address
  3. Choose and take your class
  4. Log your minutes

Live Virtual Fitness Classes


During Orientation NETworked Socials week, we will be offering two Virtual Fitness classes: Yoga and Zumba.

CapU Rec Yoga Class: Thursday, September 10, 8:30 - 9:30 a.m.

Start your day off mindfully! Join Jessie for an all-levels yoga class that will help wake you up while building proper alignment, strength and flexibility. Jessie teaches in yoga studios all over Vancouver, and also attended CapU!

CapU Rec Zumba Class: Friday, September 11, 8:30 - 9:30 a.m.

TGIF! Wrap up your first week of school right with some morning Zumba! Join Fernanda for a fun and lively Zumba class that will have you dancing all day long. Fernanda taught our in-person Zumba classes last year, and we loved learning her latin-inspired Zumba moves. This class is beginner friendly.
