Bio
Sanam Vaghefi (PhD, Sociology, University of Victoria) has teaching interests that range from sociological approaches to migration and displacement to postcolonial understandings of health and wellbeing. In addition to teaching these topics which are connected to my academic expertise, she also finds inspiration in introducing sociological perspectives to her students from other disciplinary backgrounds.
