For the Spring 2026 term (January to April), the CapU Lonsdale facility will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday. The building will be closed outside of those hours, with no access to employees or students.
All programs and activities must finish by 4 p.m. at the latest, allowing 15 minutes for people to leave and for our staff to conduct closing procedures.
We will also open some weekends, but only when internal events and/or external rentals are scheduled, for a minimum of 5 hours (staffing fees will apply).
An internal activity must be requested with a minimum of five business days in advance by sending an email to capulonsdale@capilanou.ca.
We will let you know whether your activity is approved or, if not, whether you need to book at the Main or Squamish campuses.
If you are approved, then you can fill out the Room Setup Request Form to provide us with more information. This will allow the Lonsdale team to ensure staff, security and cleaning services are arranged for coverage as needed.
