Capilano University's North Vancouver Campus is located in an urban area with limited parking.  Demand for parking spaces may at times exceed the space available.  Employees and students are encouraged to carpool, use transit, walk, or cycle to the Campus.

Pay parking is in effect 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including weekends and statutory holidays.

All vehicles on Campus must pay for parking and park only in designated parking stalls.

The administration and operation of pay parking, including permit sales, equipment, enforcement, and towing is contracted to Westpark.  The Campus parking fees, rules and regulations are established by the University.

The Campus is divided into 2 Payment Zones plus 2 parking lots designated for short term stays. Each payment zone is comprised of General Parking in addition to other designations for Registered Carpool Groups, Accessible Parking for Persons with a Disability, Guests (with "G" Permit only), 15 minute loading zones, Security, Sales Representatives, and Reserved for Special Decal (Employee).

REMINDER - the speed limit on Campus is 20 km per hour

    • There is limited parking available in the neighbourhoods outside the Campus.  Please read and comply with all signage especially near driveways and cross-streets.

The following areas are not owned by the University and vehicles may be permitted to park for free in some areas:

      • Lillooet Road
      • Purcell Way - mainly reserved for the private homes in the area

Those areas are under the jurisdiction of the District of North Vancouver and the parking rules are enforced by their ByLaw Officers.

Northwest Boarding Kennels on Monashee Drive is private property with no parking allowed.
