After you’ve applied and been accepted at Capilano University, you’ll receive a notice of the date and time when you can go online and register for your courses.

How to Find Your Registration Time Ticket

  • Login to your myCapU account;
  • Select Student Services;
  • Select Prepare for Registration;
  • Select the term from the drop-down menu.

How We Assign Registration Time Tickets

Time tickets are assigned based on student groups and the total number of credits you've earned. You can see how that breaks down in the table below.

Registration Time Ticket Ranking and Categories 

Ranking   Category

Indigenous students, athletes identified by the Athletics department, and students meeting specific criteria as identified by Accessibility Services

 2

Associate Programs: New and Returning Students 

 3

Undergrad Programs: New students, students with ≤ 9.99 earned credits, and students with ≥ 84 earned credits

 4

Undergrad Programs: Students with 54 to 83.99 earned credits

 5

Undergrad Programs: Students with 24 to 53.99 earned credits

 6

Undergrad Programs: Students with 10 to 23.99 earned credits

Within the categories, registration times are based primarily on your GPA, which is based on your student status and one of the following:

  • Capilano Cumulative GPA (CGPA), or
  • other post-secondary GPA, or
  • Grade 12 high school GPA.

Note: If you’re accepted into CapU after the Registration Time Tickets have been issued, you’ll be ranked at the bottom of your category.
