This course offers students an opportunity to write and read about the different ways of interacting with place. The course will explore the world’s histories, landscapes, violence, decay, marvels, and futures through diverse geographical, cultural, aesthetic, and thematic outlooks. The workshop component of the course will allow students to critically and creatively engage with the world they inhabit and transform their engagement into powerful stories.

Prerequisites: 45 credits of 100-level or higher coursework including 6 credits of 100 or 200-level ENGL
