      There are three kinds of applicants to Capilano University. Click on the correct link below to find out information about how to start or continue the application process:

    • New Applicant: never applied to Capilano University

      New applicants to Capilano University must complete a two-step application process:

      • First, you must apply through ApplyBC on the ApplyBC website.
      • Second, when you have completed the ApplyBC portion of the application you will be directed back to the Capilano University website to complete the second part, which is the online Capilano University Application for Admission.

      New Applicant: finish an incomplete application or check your application status

      If you have previously applied online and did not complete your application or have not yet received notification of your permanent Capilano University Student ID, use the temporary Login ID and PIN number from your previous login and application submission (this is the login and password you created when you first started the online Capilano University Application for Admission) to log into your application.

      If you cannot remember your temporary Login ID and/or PIN, please contact the Registrar's Office at 604.984.4900 between 8:30am and 4:00pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday, or 10:00am to 4:00pm on Wednesday.

      Returning Student or Returning Applicant

      If you have previously applied online and were issued your permanent Capilano University Student ID (a nine digit student number), or if you have previously registered or taken a credit course*, please use your permanent Capilano University Student ID and PIN to apply online.

      If you cannot remember your permanent Capilano University Student ID and/or PIN, please contact the Registrar's Office at 604.984.4900 between 8:30am and 4:00pm on Monday, Tuesday. Thursday or Friday, or 10:00am to 4:00pm on Wednesday.

      *All returning students who have not attended Capilano University for a major term, which is either the Fall term (September to December) or Spring term (January to April), must reapply to Capilano University.
