Note: you will be pre-assigned to a ceremony based on your program of completion and cannot switch to a different ceremony time or date.

Apply for Graduation

In order to officially graduate and be able to register for Spring Convocation, you must submit an Application for Graduation. Visit Graduation for more information and deadlines.

Registration for convocation ceremonies will also be required. You will receive an invitation to your myCapU email address to register for the ceremony. Registration will open in early April.

Photographs

Capilano University works with Grad Images for formal graduation photographs. Grad Images will be on campus from April 17-20, 2023. Register to secure your spot at GradImages.

Photographers from Grad Images will be at your ceremony to take a photograph of you at your special moment of recognition. They will contact you directly with information about how to order your photographs (please ensure to check your junk mail). If you do not hear from them within a week, contact them through their Customer Service Department at 800 372 3686 or ecc.giservice@gradimages.net

Convocation Gifts and Flowers

Want the opportunity to have a graduating t-shirt that lists the names of your entire class? Capilano University has partnered with The Commencement Group to offer unique gifts to commemorate your achievements.

If you would like to order flower bouquets in advance, online orders will be available for pickup on site on the day of the graduation. Shop for flowers and gifts on their website.
