New Student Orientations happen before the start of each term.

At Orientation, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Meet CapU staff and faculty who are here to teach, coach and guide you.
  • Learn about academic and student support services available to you.
  • Explore campus life, athletics, student clubs, social events and more.
  • Attend workshops aimed to help you do well in class and adjust as a student.
  • Make friends with other new and returning students.
  • Have fun and make your first CapU memories!

Welcome to all our new students starting at CapU this summer! The Summer 2023 orientation will take place virtually with some components in-person at our North Vancouver campus.

Providing tips and best practices they have gained through their experiences as both peer tutors and students, they will help you become more prepared for your first university writing assignments.

We are inviting all new and returning students to our CapU May Mingle on May 25, 2023, over the lunch hour.
