The Adult Basic Education (ABE) program requires all students, regardless of their education, to attend an info/assessment session and write our in-house placement assessment.
The assessment has no academic value other than assisting instructors in placing students in the correct level for their studies.
To be able to take the assessment, students are required to:
- Complete an online application and pay the application fee.
- Submit official high school transcript. Transcripts from other countries need to be originals and officially translated into English.
- Application acceptance by the ABE Department is submitted once a session has been booked.
The opportunity to register for courses is offered at the end of the session if you have been admitted to the University. If your student application is not complete, please let the ABE department know.
