This course surveys the complex interplay between text, typography, images and the book as a material object from a historical and/or contemporary vantage point, emphasizing the ways in which literary texts register both technological change as well as historical, societal, and cultural change. Prerequisites

45 credits of 100-level or higher coursework including 6 credits of 100 or 200-level ENGL
