Yes, you are able to pursue your studies at CapU, as a full-time exchange or VISP student, by online means from your home country and do not require a study permit to do so. To be considered a full-time student, you must be enrolled in a minimum of 9.0 CapU credits. Also, before you are able to register for your online courses, both CapU and your home institution must be in agreement that the courses you plan to complete online would transfer back and meet our partnership agreement.

Please connect with our Study Abroad Team at studyabroad@capilanou.ca to learn about how we plan to support your virtual study abroad experience at CapU through online meet-ups, by matching you with a CapU buddy from our Study Abroad Ambassador network, and more.
