Q. What day is Orientation?
A. Tuesday, September 5, 2017.
Q. What time do I need to be there?
A. If you are a new student Please be here by 9:30 a.m. at the latest for the orientation. You can even come at 8:30 a.m. for campus tours. If you are a returning student, CUSP starts at noon.
Q. How long will I spend at Orientation?
A. You can expect the fun to continue after the official orientation activities by participating in the app-based campus-wide scavenger hunt called
Goosechase and by attending
CUSP, the CapU Street Party.
Q. What's the CapU Street Party?
A. A campus-wide celebration for ALL students, new and returning. There will be music, food trucks, an app-based scavenger hunt, booths from local businesses, prizes, swag and more! Click

Q. Is there anything happening at CapU on Monday, September 4, 2017?
A. No. It’s Labour Day, a public holiday.
Q. I am a new International Student. Where do I go?
The New International Student Orientation takes place on August 31, a week before New Student Orientation. On September 5, all international students need to meet in front of the Sportsplex at 10 a.m.
Q. Are there any classes on September 5?
A. No. The majority of classes are CANCELLED. Only classes scheduled after 5:30 p.m. (long after the orientation events have wrapped up) will be held. Unless you hear otherwise from your professor, it's safe to assume there are no classes on orientation day.
