T2202 Tuition and Enrolment Certificate

2023 T2202 tax forms will be available February 29th, 2024.

The Canada Revenue Agency requires the collection and reporting of student Social Insurance Numbers (SIN) on T2202 tax forms. 

To enter your Social Insurance Number online:

  • Login to myCapU
  • Select the Student Services tab at the top of the page
  • Select the Update SIN tile
  • Enter your Social Insurance Number

To print a T2202 tax form online:

  • Login to myCapU
  • Select the Student Services tab at the top of the page
  • Select the Tax Notification (T2202) tile
  • Select a year from the drop-down box
  • Click Submit

Note: uPass and Student Union fees are not included on the T2202 Tuition and Enrolment Certificate.

Other fees

Once you’re admitted, in addition to tuition fees you’ll pay certain mandatory fees, such as fees for student union membership and transit passes. There may also be other fees for late payment, costs for transcripts, charges for form replacements and incidental fees.  

Tuition-free courses (other fees may still apply)

Capilano University offers some courses tuition-free (other fees may still apply) for Canadian citizens and permanent residents, as well as seniors.

Fee payment deadlines

You must pay tuition and fees by the deadlines posted but under certain circumstances, it may be possible to defer your fees.

How to pay

You have several options for paying your tuition and fees to CapU. You can pay through online banking, in person at your bank, or through your myCapU account.

You can also pay in person at the Student Financial Accounts/Cashier’s Office, or through other options. Learn more at How to Pay.
