On April 8, 2021, President Paul Dangerfield was the final guest speaker for this term's Interdisciplinary Capstone class, CAPS 499.

CAPS 499 is a writing class that prepares students for further education, employment and cultural/artistic practice beyond Capilano University. The writing takes a range of forms and culminates in an online and print portfolio, reflecting the students' studies and experience at CapU.

Previous guest speakers have included: Creative Writing's Open Text visiting writers Vu Tran, Matthew Baker and Vanessa Angelica Villareal; as well as Globe and Mail writer, David Ebner.

This Zoom session was a great opportunity for the CapU graduating students to experience a personalized farewell after pursuing their degrees at the University.
