Appointed Member – Board of Governors
Sarah Thomas is currently the Director of Indigenous and Coastal Community Relations at Clear Seas Centre for Responsible Marine Shipping. She links the western communicator's lens to her traditional knowledge of relationships and oral history through storytelling.
Sarah also holds several leadership roles in the community where she volunteers her time with various boards and committees, including her most recent appointments as a trustee on the Vancouver Maritime Museum and sitting on the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) Vancouver chapter as the Director of Communications.
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Communications from Capilano University and a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Indigenous Business and Leadership from Simon Fraser University.
